Florelie Antique was bred in Australia by Lorelie Merton of Florelie Seasonal Flowers, a specialty flower farm located in Bungaree, Victoria. Released in 2023, the variety was developed with floral design in mind. Its breeder describes it as having soft peach coloring similar to the much-loved Café au Lait, but with more consistent coloring throughout the season. Its strong stems, high petal count, and neutral palette have made it particularly desirable for wedding and event work.
