A Bit of History

Hapet Pearl was bred by renowned Austrian dahlia hybridizer Peter Haslhofer and is part of his distinctive HAPET collection.

The variety is officially classified as a Miniature Ball, Light Blend (6110). Its small, beautifully rounded flowers combine creamy yellow tones with a soft lavender-to-raspberry overlay, giving the blooms their distinctive pearl-like appearance.

Hapet Pearl has become particularly popular with cut-flower growers because its petite blooms are carried on long, useful stems. The subtle coloring also makes it an excellent transitional flower for sophisticated wedding and event palettes.
