Levi’s Blue Smoke is a captivating, color-shifting dahlia with an unforgettable blend of peach, coral-pink, raspberry, and smoky mauve-purple tones. A Bit of History

Levi’s Blue Smoke was hybridized by Levi Tremblay of Minnesota and released in 2024. It is one of Tremblay’s newer introductions and has quickly attracted attention among specialty dahlia growers for its unusual, difficult-to-describe coloring.

Despite the name “Blue Smoke,” this is not a truly blue dahlia. Instead, the name reflects the smoky lavender and mauve tones that can appear through the center and reverse of the petals. Blooms can transition from lilac and peach to coral, raspberry, bronze, and dusty pink as they mature and growing conditions change.

Beyond its distinctive coloring, Levi’s Blue Smoke is valued for its abundant flower production, strong stems, and useful bloom angle, making it an excellent addition to a productive cutting garden.
