RM Gigi is a breathtaking Informal Decorative dinner-plate dahlia featuring layers of delicately pointed petals in a dreamy combination of soft pink, peach, and buttery yellow. A Bit of History

RM Gigi is a newer introduction from River Merle Farm, released in 2025.

This variety carries a particularly meaningful story. RM Gigi was named in honor of the hybridizer's grandmother, affectionately known as “Gigi,” who loved dinner-plate dahlias and was a devoted supporter of River Merle Farm.

RM Gigi produces exceptionally large flowers with layers of pointed petals blending pink, peach, and soft butter-yellow tones. Most blooms average approximately 7–8 inches, although exceptional flowers can reach around 11 inches.

The coloring also changes throughout the growing season. Softer pastel shades are especially prominent during August and September, while richer pink and yellow tones may appear earlier and later in the season.

With its impressive size, beautiful pastel coloring, and limited availability, RM Gigi is an exciting variety for collectors and gardeners looking for a truly special dinner-plate dahlia.
